Building the ideal Magento shop, from a developer’s perspective
The Magento landscape is constantly evolving, with new tools and best practices emerging all the time. As developers, we face a growing array of options for building and optimizing e-commerce stores. But what if we could take a step back from all the constraints, the budgets, timelines, and technical debts, to envision the ideal Magento webshop?
In this talk, I'll explore what ""ideal"" could mean for a Magento developer. We'll dive into the decisions around architecture, development practices, tools, and technologies that could create an optimal experience for both the builder and the merchant. Whether you're working on a small-scale project or tackling a massive Magento instance, this talk will inspire you to think creatively about how we can leverage the best of what's available to build the ultimate Magento webshop, with a developer-first mindset.
Join me as we dream a little bigger, and see what might be possible when we aim for the best possible experience in Magento development.
What will you learn?
We as Magento developers live in a bubble. We consider things like e2e testing and deploys as the default, but is that really the case? I will explore to see what the best possible Magento store will look like, including best practices.
